The Mangima Hydro Power Corporation (MHPC) has awarded to Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC) the EPC contract for the run-of-river Mangima Hydroelectric Power Plant (Mangima HEPP). The plant capacity of 12.0 MW. Mangima HEPP will utilize the flow of the Mangima River through its components located within Barangays Tankulan, Dalirig and Lingi-on, in the municipality of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon Province. The Engineering and Development Corporation of the Philippines (EDCOP) was engaged by SCIC under a sub-contract agreement to undertake the engineering services including the detailed engineering design of the plant. The sub-contract agreement was made and entered in May 2022. EDCOP has engaged Tonkin & Taylor International Ltd (T+TI) as a subconsultant to provide support specialist for the civil and hydropower engineering works.
Mangima HEPP will include of a diversion weir with intake and spillway, desander, headrace, surge tank, penstock, powerhouse, and tailrace components.
