The proposed damsite is located in Sitio Culait, Brgy. San Juan in Cabangan, Zambales. The project service area covers around 650 hectares of irrigable lands in eight (8) barangays namely: Arew, San Antonio, San Isidro, San Juan, Sta. Rita, Dolores, Del Carmen and Felmida-Diaz. The proposed development scheme will involve the construction of a central core earthfill dam and appurtenant structures such as spillway, diversion conduit and outlet works. The impounding dam will have a structural height of 48.00 meters. The reservoir area is 20.14 hectares at normal water surface level with a capacity of 0.753 MCM.
