This project aims to provide year-round water supply for irrigation to about 2,087 hectares of agricultural land in nine (9) barangays of Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental namely: Barangay Alim, Asia, Bacuyangan, Bulua-ngan, Poblacion (Barangay 2), Pook, San Rafael, Sipalay and Talacagay. The proposed project development scheme includes the construction of a 65.0-meter embankment dam with a central core. The development scheme may also include a hydropower component with capacity of 1.66 MW at a design discharge of 2.95 m3/sec.
