The proposed development scheme will involve the construction of a zoned earth-rockfill impounding dam across the Digmala River in Barangay Labi, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. The Project has a service area of about 4,923 hectares within the municipalities of Bongabon and Laur. The proposed impounding dam will have a structural height of 99.0 meters. Its reservoir will have an area of 69.03 hectares with equivalent 22.62 MCM capacity at normal water surface elevation of 362.50 meters from riverbed. The development scheme may also include a hydropower component with capacity of 1.80 MW at a design discharge of 2.63 m3/sec.
