The program is in consonance with the following three goals of development assistance:
1. Outreach – the program offers technical and financial assistance, and in some areas, provision of guarantee fund, specifically, for co-ops that cannot provide collaterals, thus increasing opportunity for SFF to access credit services of the Bank;
2. Capacity Building – the program provides training/ workshops for its identified co-op participants to strengthen their respective capabilities in managing their organization, business and financials; and
3. Resource Sharing – partners provide equities to pursue development assistance activities for co-ops.
